From Santa Monica blacktops to pro courts in Brazil + Europe, Coach Vic has lived the game. After SAMOHI and La Verne, he came home to launch VC Basketball, a program built to grow the whole athlete: skills and character.

He speaks bilingually (English + Portuguese) and occasionally travels to Brazil to teach basketball to local youth.

Global operator, lifelong hooper. Rick Moncher is Wisconsin-born and has been a Santa Monica local for 13 years. He’s started businesses on 4 continents and logged games on courts worldwide, with his favorites being Havana, Acapulco, and Antalya, Turkey.

He’s coached kids across borders and now pours that experience into VC Elite.

Coach/Trainer

Originally from Toronto, Coach Lala brings 15+ years competing and 3+ years coaching. Assistant Coach at University High School and a VC Elite powerhouse, he’s renowned for unwavering dedication & standards.

As a Ghana Basketball 3×3 committee member and VC Coach, he runs high-energy sessions with precise footwork, confident handles, & fierce shooting.

Coach/Trainer

Coach Cam is obsessed with player development, basketball IQ, and strong fundamentals. A varsity standout for 3 years, he sees the game from both sides. As a Varsity Head Coach and AAU leader, he builds leadership, discipline, resilience, and confidence that extend beyond the court.
